The project

The pavilion is a single white room with one opening, turned so that at midday it throws a perfect shadow across the salt pans.

It is built from local limestone blocks and a lime render mixed with salt from the pans themselves.

It is used for tastings in summer and stored boats in winter.

How it was made

Every decision came with a drawing and a price, agreed before the stone was cut.
